Melissa is the Principal and President of Healthcare Management Consulting Group (HMCG), where she leverages her extensive experience in healthcare operations to drive revenue, enhance patient experience, and elevate brand value. With a strong background in Quality Improvement, Patient Access, Practice Management Operations, and Administration, Melissa is a respected figure in the healthcare consulting industry.
Melissa's academic credentials include an MS in Healthcare Administration from Park University and a BS in Business Administration from Park University. She is currently in all but dissertation status for her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University. These qualifications, combined with her practical experience, give her a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management principles.
Melissa is committed to establishing and executing organizational procedures, goals, and policies while overseeing budgetary and financial activities. She excels in consulting with executives and staff to enhance operations, negotiate agreements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Before forming HMCG, Melissa served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Controlled Technical Services, where she implemented systems to track business and client operations, ensured compliance with regulatory standards, and led operational transformation initiatives.
Melissa's career also includes impactful roles as the Director of Operations at Metropolitan Healthcare Services, Gastro Health, and Center for Vein Restoration where she implemented strategic reorganization efforts, increased patient volume, and ensured compliance with quality and safety standards.
Her expertise in healthcare management, policy, and technology has been instrumental in HMCG's collaboration with various healthcare organizations, optimizing operations, navigating regulatory changes, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive positive outcomes.
Melissa demonstrates her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing development in healthcare management by sitting on the board of the National Capital Healthcare Executives (NCHE) chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) as the Co-Director of Marketing & Communications.
